Dedicated to delivering high-quality and timeless pieces to their consumer-conscious audience, Reformation has been the poster-child for sustainable clothing as early as 2009 and has gained cult-like popularity. However, Reformation lacks an all-encompassing app that allows users to interface with their favorite products, new releases, and latest sustainability measures.
Design an app for Reformation that expands on their browser functions to streamline the process of viewing products, placing orders, viewing past purchases, and finding items curated on preference all while mirroring the elegant and timeless essence of their apparel.
I started this project the last week of May 2023 and finalized the project mid-October 2023. The tools I used included Notability and Good Notes for hand sketches and Figma to create wireframes and interactive prototypes.
In a consumer driven society, every brand has to bring its A-game when it comes to web and mobile applications and Reformation is no exception to this rule. Unfortunately, mobile browsers are particularly prone to lagging, crashing, and refreshing as it is incapable of holding all of Ref’s products and interactions. This leaves a lot of frustrated customers who have to constantly refresh their browsers, find their liked products unsaved, or can’t even search up their order.
With an all-immersive app and built-in notifications, it’s goodbye to a buried inbox and hello to a seamless app that navigates from one interface to the next. Never miss another release, sustainability report, or wrestle with the browsers to complete a purchase, exchange, or return.
As the primary developer, I spearheaded the entire project from start to finish.
